Description

IBM is looking for an AI Engineer to join their Client Engineering team. The role involves developing and deploying AI solutions using IBM’s watsonx platform, creating 4-to-6-week pilot projects for clients, and collaborating with technical leaders. The engineer will help drive client engagements, support product innovation, and contribute to IBM’s growth in AI technology.

Responsibilities

• Proof of Concept (POC) Development: Create POCs to validate AI solutions and ensure they meet client requirements
• Collaboration & Project Management: Work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and software engineers, to ensure successful project execution
• Solution Implementation & Deployment: Oversee AI solution deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance standards
• Solution Optimization & Performance: Continuously improve AI models, including foundation models and large language models
• Customer Engagement & Support: Act as a technical point of contact, assisting clients during AI solution deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience designing and delivering AI solutions, particularly with foundation models, large language models, NLP, and text analytics
• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Hugging Face
• Experience with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Solution architecture and design experience, translating business requirements into AI solutions
• Strong business acumen, collaboration skills, and a growth mindset
